The project involved customization of SugarCRM to meet the needs of business processes of Karepartners,which is one of the leading names in health care services in USA. The customized SugarCRM has evolved as a collaboration platform between Kartepartners and its partners.Since the software developed caters to the health care industry, security of the personal data stored inside is the most critical aspect of the system. The deployment of the software has not only increased the productivity but has also saved millions of dollars that were otherwise spent when the same business processes were carried out without the software.
OSSCube was contacted to:
- Design a Hierarchical security structure that emulates the real life organizational structure. Every user is able to see the records of all the users that are in down line of his hierarchy.
- Create a Candidates self service management portal is a place where the potential recruiters can login and update their profiles. They can also track the status of their applications using the portal.
- Create a structure for extensive use of dashboard and reports to give the management an over view of the business at any given point of time.
- Allow Replacement of SugarCRM documents module with an alfresco plugin so that all the documents get stored into alfresco.
The project involved collaboration with teams located in various geographies like Philippines, USA and India in multiple time zones. Agile project methodology was used to inclemently deploy and test functionalities on beta site and then transferred to the live site. Cross Technology domain experts on SugarCRM, Alfresco, MySQL and PHP were deployed in various phases of the project to get the best possible system in place.
Several new modules, extensive customization and various APIs were created for a successful delivery of the project.
